What is Athletic Training?
Intense training, not just exercise, for a specific event or series of
events on a professional, semi-professional or amature level such as
marathons runners, football players, competitive swimming, weight lifting,
gymnastics, and etc.
Dietary Considerations
Weight control while changing the intensity of training, muscle buildup,
energy burning, etc. are all variables that an athlete needs to monitor.
The increase or decrease in the amount of food necessary to fuel an increase
or decrease in training intensity without changing body weight is difficult
without some way to monitor it. Also, controlling the body's fat index
require some method of monitoring the type of foods consumed.
